Thermal insulation films for glazing

Cooler by the window in summer, warmer in winter.

IzolGLASS films reduce incoming solar heat in summer and support comfort in winter. They are installed on existing glazing, without replacing the windows, while retaining around 70% visible light transmission.

Does this sound familiar?

Large glazed areas can reduce indoor comfort.

The problem is not always the capacity of the air conditioning or heating. It often begins at the boundary between the room and the glass.

01

The air conditioning is running, but it still feels hot next to the window.

02

UV radiation accelerates fading of floors, furniture and interior finishes.

03

In winter, the glass feels cold even when the heating is on.

What you gain

More comfort without replacing the windows.

3 effects explained by documented film parameters
01

Less heat gain in summer

Active TT South blocks more than 93% of infrared radiation, the part of sunlight responsible for heat gain.

02

A bright interior

The film transmits around 70% of visible light. The final result also depends on the type of glass.

03

Protection for interiors

Both film variants block more than 99% of UV radiation.

Active TT technology

Active TT limits infrared radiation while transmitting daylight.

Visible light and thermal radiation pass through glazing to different degrees. The proprietary Active TT nano-coating selectively reduces infrared and UV radiation while preserving access to daylight.

We choose the film variant after checking the glass type and window exposure. Active TT is the technology used in the finished film - it is not a liquid product applied directly to the pane.

Upgrade cost

Improve comfort without replacing serviceable glazing.

IzolGLASS film is installed on existing glazing. The process does not require removing windows or carrying out masonry work.

Film research

Active TT parameters are supported by a peer-reviewed paper and technical documentation.

We distinguish the scientific source from the product document, so it is clear what each item confirms.

Selection and installation

Three decisions before the film is installed.

This sequence reduces the risk of selecting the wrong variant for the glazing unit and its exposure.

01

Initial contact

Tell us the location, number of windows and the problem you want to solve.

02

Window assessment

We assess the glazing type, its condition and exposure.

03

Selection and installation

We select the right Active TT variant. Installation is completed by a trained installer.

Pytania i odpowiedzi

Questions about IzolGLASS films

Odpowiedzi zachowują zakres właściwy dla konkretnej powierzchni, produktu i warunków zastosowania.

01Will the film make the room noticeably darker?

The film transmits around 70% of visible light. The final appearance also depends on the glazing and the light conditions in the room.

02Does the film also work in winter?

Yes. The heating season is part of the selection process. Active TT North blocks more than 60% of infrared radiation while allowing more solar energy through than the South variant.

03How long does the film retain its properties?

The technical data sheet defines the conditions of use. During the window assessment, we relate them to the specific glass and exposure.

04How should the glass be cleaned after installation?

After installation, we provide care instructions consistent with the product recommendations.

05Can the film affect plants near the window?

The film transmits around 70% of visible light. The effect on plants depends on the species, placement and available daylight.

06Can installation affect the window manufacturer warranty?

This depends on the manufacturer, glazing unit and its warranty terms. We check these points before recommending installation.
