Thermal insulation coatings

Millimetres of thermal insulation for demanding surfaces.

IzolPLUS is a coating system for roofs, facades, interiors and hot installations. It upgrades existing surfaces and complements the thermal protection of new building envelopes without adding a thick layer.

Thin layer, measurable performance

Limit heat gain without making the building envelope thicker.

Conventional insulation limits heat conduction. IzolPLUS also acts on radiation at the surface and reflects 90-93% of thermal radiation.

On many roofs, the coating can be applied without removing the existing covering. On facades, it can preserve the building form and architectural details.

IzolPLUS can work as a refurbishment system or complement conventional insulation in a new building envelope.

System properties

One system, six practical functions.

Their importance varies by application. The final system follows from the product, substrate and required result.

01

Reflects radiation

IzolPLUS coatings reflect 90-93% of thermal radiation.

02

Limits heat conduction

The tested coating achieved a thermal conductivity of 0.00079 W/(m·K).

03

Forms a continuous layer

The coating follows the prepared substrate without joints between insulation panels.

04

Remains flexible

The flexible layer works with the substrate and its dimensional changes.

05

Adapts to complex shapes

A liquid-applied system can cover surfaces that are difficult to enclose with rigid insulation.

06

Can be renewed

After its condition is assessed, the surface can be renewed with a further coat.

Surface atlas

Roof, facade, interior or installation?

Start with the surface. The product follows from its location, working conditions and substrate preparation.

01 / Roof

Bitum

Reduce heat gain and renew the existing roof covering.

For bituminous membranes, shingles and sheet metal roofs. At a reference site, readings showed 17-21°C on the coated area and 63°C on the uncoated area.

02 / Facade

Termo-Fasada

Improve thermal protection without changing the building form.

A thin layer for external walls, including buildings where increasing facade thickness is restricted.

03 / Interior

Termo-Wnętrze

Reduce the cold-wall effect on walls and ceilings.

For application from inside the room. The product has a PZH hygiene certificate that also covers healthcare facilities.

04 / Industry

Termo Stop

Reduce losses from pipes and hot surfaces.

A thermal insulation compound that follows installations, fittings and surfaces with complex geometry.

Substrate preparation

Grunt Uniwersalny

A system component for preparing compatible substrates before the coating is applied.

Finishing layer

Tynk termoizolacyjny

An additional product for building envelopes that require a textured finish.

Coating or extensive refurbishment

A different scope of work, not a simplified substitute.

This comparison concerns how the upgrade is organised. The final layer build-up always follows from a technical assessment.

Extensive refurbishment

More intervention in the existing envelope

  • Removal of existing layers
  • A thicker building envelope
  • Heavy dismantling work
  • Waste and reinstatement work
  • Longer disruption to building use

Coating system

More work with the existing surface

  • Assessment and preparation of a stable substrate
  • Application to the existing surface
  • Preservation of envelope geometry
  • Less dismantling work and waste
  • Work sequence adapted to the building

On-site measurement

Two surfaces. One roof. The same moment.

On the roof of the AAM Driveline facility in Świdnica, thermal imaging compared an area coated with Bitum and an area without the coating.

From assessment to application

We select the product and work scope for the surface.

The process is easy to follow but keeps the essential step: assessing the substrate before defining the system.

If the project requires a final measurement, we agree its scope before work begins.

Pytania i odpowiedzi

Questions about IzolPLUS coatings

Odpowiedzi zachowują zakres właściwy dla konkretnej powierzchni, produktu i warunków zastosowania.

01Can a thin coating reduce heat transfer?

IzolPLUS combines reflection of thermal radiation with low thermal conductivity. A value of 0.00079 W/(m·K) for the tested coating was reported in an Energies paper in 2022.

02How is material consumption calculated?

Consumption depends on the product, substrate and required system. We specify it after assessing the surface.

03Which surfaces can be treated with IzolPLUS?

The range includes bituminous, shingle and sheet metal roofs, facades, walls and ceilings, as well as hot installations. Final compatibility is confirmed for the specific substrate.

04When can the coating be applied?

Conditions depend on the product, substrate condition and weather. We provide the requirements for the selected system.

05How is the coating renewed?

After assessing the existing surface, the system can be renewed with another coat instead of removing the entire layer.

06How is IzolPLUS different from ordinary paint?

IzolPLUS is a technical coating with documented thermal parameters. It is selected for the surface and function, not only for the colour of the finish.
